Turn from all earthly pleasures and lusts and turn your eyes unto Jesus; and let the desire of your heart be for the things of God and not the things of the earth.
Whatsoever a man seeketh, so his heart shall become; if he seeks after God and the things of God, his heart shall become godly; but if he seeks after the things of the world, his heart shall become corrupted and filled with evil desires.
Therefore what you seek can lead you to the pathway of salvation or can lead you down the pathway that ends in destruction.
Jesus said, Enter in by the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who enter that way. Narrow is the gate and close the way that leads to life.
Few do find it.
