Like rain to a parched farmer's field that brings life giving water to the dried out and dying tender plants causing them to revive; so are the words of inspiration given by God to holy men able to revive the spiritual lives of the children of God.
The words spoken by Jesus Christ while yet He did minister in person remained in non affect until his death upon the cross of Calvary; thus sealing His words by His own blood; thereby His words became the power of God unto salvation to all who did both hear and believe.
Throughout the ages whenever God decided to bring revival to mankind; He would raise up a holy man and speak through him the words that have the power to revive the hearts of men.
